Description
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a world-recognized environmentally friendly material, which is usually corn extract. Cutlery made of PLA meets the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) (Generall Recognized as Safe) specifications. In the Amendment 4 of EU Monomers Directive, 96/11/Ec, polylactic acid (LacticAcid) has been listed as a material that can come into direct contact with food, which is in line with EU or European national standards.
Currently, QUANHUA’s PLA straw ranges from dia. 5mm to 9mm generally. However, we can enlarge our straw production lines by investing more facilities as long as customer demand it in big quantity.
