In today’s world, sustainable and environmentally friendly choices are becoming more and more important. One option is CPLA cutlery, like knives, forks, spoon, straws. Before you are purchasing PLA straws, how many points need to consider, follow us and tell you the answer.
1. Material and description:
PLA is short for polylactic acid, which is made from plant material, such as renewable resources of cornstarch, sweet potato starch, or sugarcane.
PLA drinking straws have been certified as 100% biodegradable and compostable, BPI and Din Certco certified, and they are popular now all over the world.
2. Sizes:
PLA straws are available in various diameters and lengths, such as dia.5x L200mm, dia. 6x L210mm, dia. 8x L 250, etc. which is all depending on the requirement of the market and end users.
3. Heat Resistance
Normally, PLA straw’s heat resistance is up to 45℃ or 113ºF, which is suitable for the cold drinks only. However, since there’s still demand of the straws for higher temperature, the heat-resistant straws are also available now to meet the needs.
4. Package and printings
Individually-wrapped by paper/PP bag + with 1C logo or without printing;
Retail package as 25pcs/PP bag or bio bag with or without logo both accept;
Bulk packages as 100pcs/PP bag or bio bag, with or without printing logo is also available;
For more packages accept customized, depend on our customer’s need.
5. Prices
To get the prices of our straws, below details are requested:
1) Heat resistance: for cold drinking or hot drinks, please?
2) Sizes: Diameter and Length of the straws;
3) Colors: Natural color, semi-transparent, black or else, if not specified, it will be deemed to be natural color;
4) Package:
How do you like your straws to be packed pls? by bulk, individually-wrapped, or retail package or else? By paper bags, by PP bags, by bio bags or else, pls?
If not specified, it will be deemed as bulk package by PP bag, 100pcs/bag x 50bags per carton;
5) Printings:
If there’s any printings needed, pls kindly share with us your design, normally your logo plus some simple slogan. If not specified, it will be deemed to be without logo on the wrappers.
