SY-15-SP Compostable CPLA Spoon – 5.7 Inch
The SY-15-SP compostable spoon is made from CPLA (Crystallized Polylactic Acid), a renewable material derived from corn starch. A mineral additive is incorporated to enhance heat resistance up to 80°C (176°F) without affecting the product’s compostability.
Designed for strength and durability, this spoon performs well with both hot and cold foods. Its sturdy construction makes it suitable for serving soups, desserts, yogurt, ice cream, rice dishes, and a variety of ready-to-eat meals while providing a reliable and comfortable dining experience.
The SY-15-SP is widely used in restaurants, takeaways, catering services, school cafeterias, airlines, food trucks, events, picnics, camping, and other foodservice environments where sustainable disposable cutlery is preferred.
Certified by BPI and DIN CERTCO, this compostable spoon meets internationally recognized standards for industrial compostability and offers an environmentally responsible alternative to conventional plastic cutlery.
