SY-15-KN Compostable CPLA Knife – 152mm / 6 Inch
The SY-15-KN compostable knife is made from CPLA (Crystallized Polylactic Acid), a renewable material derived from corn starch. A mineral additive is incorporated to improve heat resistance up to 80°C (176°F), making the knife suitable for both hot and cold food applications.
Designed for superior strength and durability, the SY-15-KN provides excellent cutting performance and is resistant to breaking during use. It is particularly suitable for serving meat, vegetables, and other foods that require cutting, offering a reliable dining experience for customers.
This knife is widely used in restaurants, takeaways, catering services, school cafeterias, food trucks, parties, picnics, and other food service environments where sustainable disposable cutlery is preferred.
Certified by BPI and DIN CERTCO, the product meets internationally recognized standards for industrial compostability, providing an environmentally responsible alternative to conventional plastic knives.
