All the cutlery are disposable, biodegradable and compostable. The raw material is PLA ( Polylactic acid or polylactide ), which is for cold dishes, and CPLA or TPLA ( Crystallized PLA), which is created for higher heat use products. All the cutlery are 100% compostable in commercial or industrial composting facilities.
Production Line
There are 4 plant buildings of Quanhua company, each is well-equipped with different production lines. 1 granulation production line to get raw materials; 1 molding factory for tooling and new molds; 40 sets injection molding machines are working for producing compostable knives, forks, spoons, sporks, etc.; 15 packing lines including automatic package machines to pack finished products based on different customized packing requirements, such as individual or 2 in 1 with/without napkins, etc. 1 film blowing machine to get bio bags in material of PBAT+PLA films for inner packing, 1 film printing machine; 1 film slicing machine to cut the films into smaller sizes; 1 PLA extrusion machine for PLA straws from dia. 5-8mm; 1 paper cutlery production line, which was completed in Oct. 2021; 1 team of carton package design... A1: Yes, Quanhua is a manufacturer established in year 2018 with 1 plant building and now it's already expanded in 4 plant buildings. Besides, its former Suyuan comapny started its cutlery business since 2006.
A2:The raw material of CPLA cutlery is PLA resin. After the PLA material is crystallized during manufacture, it can resist to high temperature up to 185F. Compared with regular PLA cutlery, CPLA cutlery have better strength, higher heat-resistance and nicer appearance.
A3: 30% deposit, balance upon received BL Copy; L/C at sight.
A4: Yes, both products and packages are customized based on the actual demand.
A5: Generally, it takes only 3-5 days to get ready samples in factory, and sometimes if it's lucky enough, you can get samples immediately from our stock.
A6: Strict in-house quality control is conducted, third party goods inspection is acceptable.
A7:Our MOQ is 200ctns/ item (1000pcs/ctn). The lead time is about 7-10 days after the order confirmed and the deposit payment received.
A8: The prototype tooling takes about 7-10 days to be finished. The production mold takes about 35-45 days to be finished.
A9:No, PSM cutlery is not compostable. It’s a compound of renewable plant starch and plastic filler. However, PSM is a good alternative for 100% petroleum-based plastics.
A10:Our CPLA Cutlery will compost in industrial/commercial composting facility within 180 days.
A11: Sure, with BPI, DIN CERTCO and OK Compost certificating, all our products are food -contact safe.
