There are 4 reasons at least caused the differences.
1.Materials of cutlery:
TPLA/CPLA cutlery > PSM cutlery > PS/PP cutlery
Generally, the material cost of PLA is more expensive than PSM, while PSM is higher than PS or PP.
2.Cutlery colors:
colored cutlery > black cutlery > white cutlery
Since a color master batch needs to be added to the materials during production, it not only costs more but also takes longer time and creates more waste and NG.
3.Inner Packages
Wrapped cutlery > bulk-packaged cutlery
Pack by color box > pack by kraft paper bags > pack by bio bags > pack by OPP bags
4.Printings on the inner packages
multi-color logos > 1-color logo > without logos
Moreover, is any napkin needed? is the napkin 1-ply bleached or 2-ply unbleached? Is there any salt & pepper required? or toothpicks? or wet napkin? or sugars? and so on and so on. Every single thing you added will cause a price difference from production, and purchasing to packing and delivery.
